Description
Stunning 1966 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GT!
Cars like this are rarely being offered!
This beauty was build on August 31, 1965 and first sold in Cori, Italy.
The car was imported in the Netherlands in 2017 and had a multi year refurbishment incl. a bare-metal repaint in white done by Dijkhoff carrestaurations (737 hours of labour!) and a complete mechanical overhaul.
Very original interior.
The standard 502 engine was replaced by a 536 Veloce engine.
Some small upgrades have been done for better driving;
Koni shocks, GTA style adjustable toparms, an alu T-bar, braided brake hoses, and a ceramic coated exhaust manifold.
In 2020 the current owner bought the car, but even tough, more then 70000 euros (+ the basecar which was bought for 40000 euros) was spend in the car, he wasnt very happy how the car was driving.
The owner owns a lot of cars and simply wants his cars sorted as good as possible.
The bodywork and interior where perfect by now but the mechanics where not done properly so he decided in 2022 to bring the car to Scalino Classic Garage to solve everything and make the car better then new.
A LOT was done to achieve this, the gearbox was rebuild in the right way, the engine was taken apart as it was leaking to much so all gaskets and seals where replaced and the cilinderhead was rebuild incl. decent camshafts.
Also the propshaft was balanced, steeringbox and differential where rebuild.
And to give the car that nice and smooth handling, Alfaholics Fast Road Springs where installed too.
We have all the invoices from the work done, its to much to all mention here.
Price 79500
