Typical example of a rust free California car. Being a 1969 model, this car has the original high-compression engine, what makes this car VERY fast for it’s time. Just to compare, that is in the same league as Lamborghini’s Miura or a Ferrari Daytona. A 911 did not have any chance of competing with this beast of an automobile. That fact given, you will easily cruise 160 KMH with just one hand on the steering wheel. The air suspension and perfect German engineering make this the ultimate classic car to have.
This 6.3 underwent a total 2 year total restoration with the starting point absolute perfection. The very best German specialists have performed the work on this car. Engine and gearbox completely redone, all suspension parts, air conditioning, brakes & axles overhauled. The very best paint & bodywork performed which results in arrow-straight bodywork on the beautiful 387 Metallic Blau paintjob. All chrome and wood has been done by the best of the best in Germany to factory standards. Original XWX tyres. The car has been restored without any concern to cost, completely documented by a giant folder of invoices and hundreds of photos of the restoration process. The result is an award winning 6.3 in an amazing colour scheme that is completely documented.
The car won “second in class” at the 2018 concours d ’elegance Dutch Royal Palace ‘t Loo.
The car was featured on the cover of the Mercedes Club Netherlands magazine Zilverster.
