In 1991 Mercedes finally introduced the Cabriolet version of the W124 and delivery started in early 1992. This high spec 300CE-24 sold new in Italy in July 1992 and remained there until 2004. On top of that, only 6.300 300CE-24V convertibles were built. Out of these 6.300 units, no more than 500 were sold with a manual transmission, making this a true gem!
The car still has its original Brilliant Silver Metallic paint. The paint is still in excellent condition and free of any damages or rust. The car comes with freshly restored 15” 8-hole alloy wheels with brand new Dunlop tires.
The interior is still in excellent condition. This car was optioned with electrically adjusted seats, sport steering wheel, automatic air-conditioning and electrical adjusted steering column. All electric controls still work, the dash clock as well. With only 143.000km this car is in great condition.
Mechanically the car is in very good condition. Prior the sale the car was completely serviced. All new fluids and filters, new spark plugs, spark plug wires, new alternator, battery and wipers. All electric components are still in working condition. De dogleg transmission shifts flawlessly like it should.
Overall, this is a very original and desirable convertible, ready to be enjoyed by its new owner!

In 1991 introduceerde Mercedes eindelijk de Cabriolet-versie van de W124 en de levering begon begin 1992. Deze high spec 300CE-24 werd nieuw verkocht in Italië in juli 1992 en bleef daar tot 2004. Bovendien werden er slechts 6.300 300CE-24V-cabriolets gebouwd. Van deze 6.300 exemplaren werden er niet meer dan 500 verkocht met een handgeschakelde versnellingsbak, wat dit een waar juweeltje maakt!
De auto heeft nog steeds zijn originele Brilliant Silver Metallic-lak. De lak is in uitstekende staat en vrij van schade of roest. De auto wordt geleverd met vers gerestaureerde 15” 8-gaats lichtmetalen velgen met gloednieuwe Dunlop banden.
Het interieur is nog steeds in uitstekende staat. Deze auto is uitgerust met elektrisch verstelbare stoelen, sportstuur, automatische airconditioning en elektrisch verstelbare stuurkolom.
