Description
Why should you buy a Triumph TR250
The Triumph TR250 combines the classic look of the earlier models with the more powerful 6 cylinder engine that was later used in the TR6. The handling of a TR250 is great and the power to weight ratio superior to earlier and later models.
By 1968 Triumph became an iconic sportscar manufacturer and to this day spare parts are easy to find and the mechanics are reasonably straight forward. The TR250 was only in production in 1968 and wasn’t produced in enormous numbers, 8464 were built and intended for the American market.
Why should you buy this Triumph TR250
This example is well cared for, equipped with 3 double Weber carburettors and fitted with all accessories you need to participate in classic rally’s. It comes with several maps of documentation, invoices, British Heritage certificate, lots of pictures and manuals.
Our TR250 features in Triumph Racing Green, with an Old English White Surrey top (alloy). This means you will have a roadster as well as a coupé in one.
The car was originally delivered in the USA, came back to Europe (Holland) emigrated with the then owner to Switserland and came back to Holland where te current owner enjoyes the car since 2017. He puts it up for sale with regret because he uses a TR6 to participate in the classic rallies and that one is fitted with a roll bar.

Why is this TR250 in our car range
We do love classic rallies and thus cars that are equipped with alle necessary gadgets to do so. The TR250 is the most powerful and well balanced of the classic Triumphs and handles really well.
It is in very good condition, has a lot of history and is reasonably priced. A taxation report from 2017 puts the value of the car at 52.000 €.
We met the owner and his brother co-pilot on the 2023 Belgian Westhoek Classic, a most charming team, participating with their Triumph TR6. Obviously cautious and caring for his cars, he told us he wanted to sell his TR250 and we agreed to do so for him.
Seize this opportunity to buy a Triumph TR250, in this condition, with the featured accessories, at a price of only 45.000 €… and do so before the owner regrets his decision to put it up for sale.
