Very unique BMW K1300S with 3500€ of carbon fiber parts on it and an endless engine with almost 95.000 km. These engines can do easily 500.000 km and more. I have it for almost 3 years and done my self more than 50.000 km.
In march I put new tires on it and changed also new TPMS.
In October changed a new drive shaft so for other 80000 km doesn’t need any extra maintenance, just oil replacement (cheap and fast to do).
It has ESA II suspensions, electrical adjustments, it rises up and lowers down as well beside giving the choice to drive it with a SPORT, NORMAL or COMFORT setting.
The Quick Shifter on this bike is something that you cannot not love.
ABS on both wheels, the brake on it is so powerful that makes you want to drive fast every time because you know it would stop fast too.
It has also traction and leaning angle control, so if you try to give it too much throttle in not really safe conditions, it will really save your a, I drove it 12 months and 365 days per year in every kind of road or weather condition, literally. The heated grips helped in winter times. You can imagine the amount of maintenance and care I took of it to be sure to be always safe during my long trips. I have a lot of invoices from BMW workshops, BMW SERVICE in the maintenance pictures.
I also fixed some issues that the 2009 model has and upgraded them from the 2014 model.
It has the original BMW Navigator IV system with the mount and everything, a little bit slow for these days, but on long trips for me was always better to have a backup navigator.
I give it with the Quad Lock Pro mount and USB charger.
There is much more to say and show about it to understand how unique and special it is, but I bought another complete different bike and it’s a shame leaving the BMW parked outside without using it anymore when it’s literally made to eat up a lot of kms.
In the last 3 pictures you can see the carbon fiber center part on the tank got ruined by the sun since I moved to the Netherlands, the side panel has few scratches because I stopped once on the side of the street and slipped with my foot on the gravel making it fall, never took care of fixing it because it’s barely visible and the little cracks on the belly pan are the consequence of a dumb move on the snow last winter. They are only little aesthetic imperfections that make me sell it for this low price.
